About me

I graduated with a BSc degree in Pure and Applied Mathematics from University College Cork in 2010, followed by an MSc degree in Race Car Aerodynamics from the University of Southampton in 2011.

I am currently studying for my doctorate in the Mathematics of Data Privacy. The first two years of my research were spent at the Hamilton Institute in NUI Maynooth (now Maynooth University), but in December 2014 I transferred to the School of Computer Science and Statistics in Trinity College Dublin. I am jointly supervised by Prof. Doug Leith and Dr. Ollie Mason.

I have a keen interest in Irish, trampolining and traditional Irish music.

Research Interests

My research interests include Data Privacy, more specifically, the Mathematical Foundations of Differential Privacy. To date my work has been largely focused on discrete mathematics, convex geometry, linear algebra, measure theory and graph theory, among others.
